Department of Curriculum and Instruction

The BS in Marketing Education prepares students to apply learned subject matter in a classroom setting as a grades 9-12 business education teacher. Students will gain a better understanding of business knowledge, understandings and skills as preparation for teaching. Students will be prepared to demonstrate their ability to foster learning development and applications through logical thinking, reasoning, and problem-soling regarding business and economic problems. Use the following examples of employment opportunities for Business Education majors as an idea list, and remember that it represents some, but certainly not all, of the careers you might consider. Some of these jobs also require education beyond the bachelors’ degree.
